H+sp seeks an Entry Level Interior Designer to join the exclusively Healthcare Design staff. The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented, self starting individual.

Specific qualifications involve:

▪ Performs interior design assignments using professional concepts and procedures

▪ Assists in the selection and specification of interior architectural materials and finishes, furniture, lighting and artwork

▪ Performs programming efforts such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, lighting and color coordination

▪ Works closely with senior staff supporting design and technical tasks

▪ Assists with construction document preparation

▪ Revises drawings and renderings

▪ Performs research for the project team

▪ Organizes files, materials, and displays

Reguirements:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related design field

▪ 0-3 years of Interior Design experience, with architectural design experience preferred

▪ Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects

▪ Maintains effective communication with project team members

▪ Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships

▪ Experience with SketchUp, Illustrator and Photoshop. Revit a plus.

▪ LEED AP preferred

Seeking a well rounded Interior Designer. In this position, you will join a highly creative, collaborative, and nimble team dedicated to problem-solving for healthcare facilities.

Responsibilities:

▪ Collaborate on interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development

▪ Resolve complex design issues

▪ Develop space planning concepts and generate program documents

▪ Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications

▪ Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives

▪ Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination

▪ Provide project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction

▪ Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples

▪ Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs

Qualifications:

▪ 2-5 years related interior design experience

▪ Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials

▪ Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development

▪ Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills

▪ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

▪ Outstanding graphic presentation skills

▪ Revit skills are required
